Graphic Buds Committee would like to
Honor
These special Ladies for all the hard work that have done
volunteering for the Graphic Buds.
We Thank you all!
In Honor of Lana

Lana was a very special member of our
Graphic Buds Family. She was with us almost from the beginning. It was very
clear that Lana was more than a passing name online, she was a real person who
liked to help others. It is hard to find people that will work for free for any
length of time. And we do understand that. Your family should always come first.
But with Lana, she brought her family along! Bethy, her daughter, was our
youngest member ever. We weren't sure if a teenager would be happy hanging out
with us and doing graphics, but Bethy did. Not only that, she was also very
talented and won several ribbons in our contests. Well, what would you expect of
Lana's daughter? Lana became extremely talented as time went along, and many of
us said that Lana learned more than anyone else. Lana didn't stop there though.
She gave of her time to help others learn to make beautiful graphics. In her
time working with the PSP Classes, she must have helped several hundred people
that would all remember her as the kindest teacher. Some of us would get a
little grumpy now and then, but Lana always found something nice to say.
Angel, that's what she was. She would tease us all about her being an angel, one
whose "halo" had just slipped a little. That's because she had this great sense
of humor. Sometimes it would be Lana who had to make us smile when we would all
be too tense about a situation. Angels do good deeds often unseen. That was
Lana. Maybe many of our members didn't know she was there working all the time.
But she was, and she is one of the reasons we wanted to have a group like GB. To
get to know people like Lana makes it all worth while. She came into our lives
and gave us much more than she ever thought of taking. And like many other good
members, she also reached out and shared her personal life. We felt like we knew
her family as our own. It takes a lot of trust to open up to people you have met
online, but Lana had a trusting spirit And we trusted her too. If we all lived
closer, then Lana would have been part of a group that met for real and hugged
and shared and had some coffee together. You just know when you have met a
really nice person, and Lana was.
It's very hard to say goodbye to someone who has meant so much to us. That's why
we might not have to. What? Well, Lana was an angel here on Earth, so maybe she
is going to hang around still and keep an eye on us. We all need someone like
Lana to keep us heading in the right direction.
Lana was taking online classes herself and
she was so very proud of what she had learn and what she created herself.. You
can find her web site here:
Shae's Nanny. She was so very proud
of herself for what she could do!
You will be missed very much..
