I've been using PSP since 1997, but this is the first time I've gotten an itch to actually sell a CD. I knew if I ever did one, it would have to be something really different. In the past I have been a "totally addicted to Tubes" person, but this past year I've discovered the benefits of using Vector shapes. Unlike tubes, which are made up of pixels, a vector shape is made up of math information. That means you can do all kinds of things to the image and not lose any quality. Plus you can edit the color, patterns, gradients and even the basic shape of a shape. So this first CD of mine is filled with over 300meg of vector shape files. They range from cute little animals, beautiful flowers, Easter eggs, hearts and much more.
Well, I don't like to leave a CD with so much empty space, so I added a lot more things! All of my PSP7 Tutorials are on this CD. These range from our Basic PSP7 Class Tutorials to many of the Advanced PSP7 Class tutorials. Also included is a brand new tutorial that will teach you how to manage your Shapes, edit them, make them, etc. In fact, I'm going to require anyone that buys this CD to go over that tutorial! Trust me, it will save you a lot of grief, hence it will save me grief.
The CD still wasn't full, so I added in my background patterns that I have had on the web since 1997. But I didn't stop there. I made a ton of brand new patterns! They range from fabrics, chocolate, swirls, textures, tiles, weaves & wicker, and finally my faves, the shiny ones! I went a little nuts on those.
Ok, now I was getting a big CD! So I added one more folder of things, photos taken by me. The fall images are not only gorgeous, most of them are the amazing size of 2048x1360. That means you can use them for large formats and have full quality. The sky and cloud photos are wonderful since the day I shot them was one of the prettiest fall days we had this past year. There are also some nice flower photos. I have to thank my daughter Joy for those since someone is always giving her beautiful roses for me to take photographs of. And take a look in the Patterns folder, then in the one named psp. I tubed one of the most beautiful roses and made 26 psp variations of it, sized at 400x400 pixels. With the transparent background, you can put the roses anywhere.

Jessie made a wonderful interface for this CD. He handled the technical end of the interface, and I designed the graphics. If you want a full size view of the interface, click on the thumbnail below.
I have just one more thing to add. I thought long and hard about
the price of the CD. The work on this CD represents hundreds of hours
of work. Not only that, you get a jam-packed CD, over 650 meg.
Keeping those things in mind, I didn't feel as though I could charge less
than $19.99. I actually wish I could afford to give the CD away,
but the money made from CD sales will go to helping keep Graphic Buds a
great place to get together with other PSP lovers.
