Glass tips:  When using a piece of glass for your fill, it may be too big or too small for what you want.  With the image open, do a bicubic resample to change the size.  Go back to your pattern options and choose the image again.  This will use the size you just changed the image to.  Don't save the size change since you don't need to keep different sizes around filling up your hard drive.  Just resample when you need a different size for a particular pattern section.  Oh, and some pieces might fill better for a certain section if you rotate it.
