We are going to learn how to make the cd covers for the cd's you might want to make. The first thing you need to do is to figure out what you will want on your cd cover. Here I will show you the basics for creating this cd cover.

Okay, open up a new image in paintshop pro. The size is going to be 4.62 x 4.62 INCHES

Select the Selection Tool with these settings.

Now go to View, Ruler and make your ruler visiable on your image.

With the cursor in the middle of your image 166 x 166 make your circle. Bring it all the way out to the edges of your image. Don't go over the edge or it won't look right.

Now you see the marching ants, we want to flood fill this with any color you wish.

Now with the selections tool, go to the middle of your image, 166 x 166 and make another circle 108 x108 and hit the delete button on your keyboard.

You can either start decorating your cd cover now or continue on and see what I do with it.

I am going to use this image to put on my cd cover.

Now go back to your cd cover templet and with the magic wand, select the circle.

Copy and paste it as a new layer on the image you have chosen.

Now with your magic wand select the cd cover that is on your image. Go to your layer palette and make the background layer active, copy and paste as new image. You should have something like this.

Now we are going to add our title to our cd cover. 
First we are going to draw a curved line using the brezier tool.

Starting at 50 x85, draw a line to 250 x 85, then click once at 120 x 50 and the second click at 210 x 85. Your image should look like this.

Now with your text tool selected and the font you want selected along with the color, go to the line you just drew, you will see this.

This is going to make your text follow the line path you have created.

Now right click on your image and click yes to the window that pops up.

You will see the text has moved under the line, now move your line down a little below the text you just wrote and write another line of text, This is optional.

Once you have the text the way you would like it, you can also flip the line over and write text on the bottom of the cd.
Once you have your text on the line like you like it, go into your layer palette and delete the vector layer.

Now your image should look something like this.

You can add anything you would like and do it any way you would want. This is your cd cover. Use your imagination and see what you can come up with.
