Ok........how many of you remember finger painting as children?  I do!  I remember that it was a whole lot of fun, and that it gave me a great sense of satisfaction.  This lesson is meant to bring you the same kind of fun you had as a child.  It requires nothing more than PSP6 and a sense of adventure.

Make a new image, 250x250.  Ok......to the tubes!  There are some really great sets that come with PSP6.  I'm feeling hungry, so I'm going to use the Garden Veggies.  Keep them at 100% and just start throwing them on!  Go on........throw those veggies!  Whew.....ok, now switch to 50% and throw some more on.  Isn't this fun?  Now finally, switch to 25% and throw on more wherever you think you want one.  I hope you haven't been stopping to think much.  You aren't supposed to be worrying about design, you are supposed to be feeling the experience of freedom.

Tubing Fun!Garden Veggies

Now, let's begin having some more fun.  This is the adventuring part.  I'm not going to give any settings for these because you should be playing and finding your own way.  The first thing I'm going to do is go to Image/Effects/Kaleidoscope.  That was interesting.  *Note: The Kaleidoscope doen't always look right.  You may want to experiment more with the deformations. Next: Image/Deformations/Twirl.  Hint.....go high in the positive direction.  Next:  Image/Deformations/Ripple.  Choose your own settings.  Then: Image/Deformations/Twirl.  Hint.......go high in the negative direction.

Ok.......take a break from that and go back to the veggie tubes.  Start throwing on some more at 50%.  Twirl again, negative direction.  Then: Image/Deformations/CurlyQ's. Twirl again, positive direction.
