It's kind of interesting how I arrived at all this.  I was playing with different effects on the same rose tube image.   Someone told me they didn't get this rose in their PSP7, but it came in mine.  Does anyone else have this problem?  Let me know.

I played with foil, enamel, chrome, soft plastic, etc.  I put them all together on a gradient filled background.  Then I merged the layers and went to Reflections and the Kaleidoscope.  Hmmmmm.........that was interesting!  I then tried different effects on the new image.  Rose 3 on the top row used the sandstone version (custom 2 setting, then edge/enhance and then guassian blur 1).  I used it as a background layer for the original rose, opacity at 20%.  It made a nice, lacy look under the rose.

I also really like the way the first image on the second row came out.  I used enamel to get that effect.  Try Soft Plastic and Rough Leather too!  The possiblities are endless.

And I just couldn't help but show these three other sandstone versions.  Click to see the full size images.  How cool is number 3?  I really like that look!  And you could then add Soft Plastic or Rough Leather over that!  The hard part about using the Effects in PSP 7 is making yourself stop!
