I'm going to be really mean and just give the general things I did to get this image.  I used two different gradient fills on different layers.  One was Transparent Sky, the other was Summer Field.  Of course the tubes I used are easy to spot.  I used Corn, Wheat, Garden Vegtables, Grass, Lawn and River Rocks.  Each of those times you see them they are on their own layer, including each grass blade!  I will tell you that the grass blades were the last touches I made to the image.  I didn't name those layers and just kept throwing them on.  That's why I saved them for last.  But you may want to save the grass for last on an image and just keep adding them on one layer.  That is what "normal" people would do!  And one more tip there is that I used different sizes for the grass blades.

Another easy Effect to spot is the Illumination.  I used both the Sunburst Effect and the Sunset in Lights.  The Sunburst was applied more than once.

Do you notice the curves that make it look more like fields?  That was done using the Artistic Effect of Topography.  Try that effect out and I think you will really like some of the looks you can achieve using it.
