Making A Country Bed
The Comforter Page 3

With the top comforter layer still active, click on the Retouch tool, Smudge mode.  Brush size 5, Hardness 0, Opacity 50.  Left click above the end point of the comforter and hold the click down.  Push down toward the point.  You are smudging color and pushing it towards the end point.  Do this straight down the middle, and from the left side and also the right side.  See the screen captures below for how this should be looking.  When done, click on the Freehand select tool again and trim off the excess where it is blurry.

While we are doing touchups, you can fix something that might be bothering you even though the pillows will most likely cover it.  Make the Sheets layer active.  Use the Draw Tool with the same settings as for the comforter vector line, and change the top Styles to the matching Solid Color of your sheets.  Draw a straight line across the jagged meeting of the sheet and the headboard.  Convert to a Raster Layer and trim excess.

Doesn't that look nice?  Even if only you will know how it looks.

You can then do the same thing to the right side of the sheet.
Convert to a Raster Layer and trim where it meets the comforter.

Don't forget to name your two new layers, sheet top line, sheet side line.

Oh.....do you like ruffles?  That's what you are going to do next.
