Some of you are scared because the bedpost has 26 layers. Now calm down, it's only going to take you about 15 minutes to finish your bedpost and then tube it. We are going to work through it calmly and logically, starting from the bottom and working our way to the top. Instead of making a screen capture for each layer, this will be mostly text separated into sections, depending on whether the piece of the post is horizontal or vertical, and whether the wood pattern is at 50% or 25%.
So since I have already shown you a screen capture of the Styles Patterns several times, I'll only show it once here. On page 1 of the bed tutorial, you were told to save the Custom Preset, Bed Rounds. So you shouldn't have to set that up. In other furniture tutorials, I've shown the Pillow 2 Preset several times and suggested you save it, but I will show that one again. Those are the only two bevel presets you will be using for your post. So basically, you need just the bedpost template, your woodpattern and the two saved bevel presets. Let's get to work!
This first page will contain the main screen captures only. The next page will contain almost all text.
