Making A Country Bed

Using the Vector Bed Template
For all of you that want to avoid jaggies, please pick up the new Vector Bed Template.

When you open the template in PSP, click on/Toggle your Layer Palette on.

All the layers are named and are in the correct position, ie, above or below other layers.  Do NOT convert any of these layers to a Raster Layer until you have filled the layers with your pattern choice.  Where you see the squares to the left of a layer name, that is a Vector layer.  Where you see the 3 round balls together to the left of a layer name, that is a Raster layer.

For this part of the tutorial, I'm using these two wood and fabric graphics.
You can right click to save them and test the vector directions.

Click on the headboard layer with the Mover tool to make it active.

Click on the Node Editing/Object Selector tool and click again on the headboard again.

Have your Tool Options window open.  Click on Properties, not Node Edit.

This window of Vector Properties will come up.  Both Stroke and Fill will have a solid color showing.  Change the Stroke to Null.  Now see where it says Fill under Styles?  Click on the black arrow and then click on the Pattern symbol.
