Making Cabinet 1: Hardware

Here comes the new part.  Use the Wingdings.ttf, lower case d.  Use the same text settings of Vector/Antialias.  I didn't resize my ding because I wanted small hardware for the cabinet.  On the Styles, have wood03.jpg as the Stroke, wood01.jpg as the Fill.  Once you convert the vector layer to a raster layer, apply the Inner Bevel/Metallic Preset.

Use the Selection tool to select the straight bar.  Cut and paste as a new layer.
Rotate the bar Right 90 degrees.  Flip the "handle".
Click on the Deform tool and make your bar more narrow.

Copy and paste the bar as a new layer.  Use the Deform tool again to make the bar smaller.
The smaller bar is for the 3 side doors on the cabinet.

Here are some samples of what you can do to change the look of your hardware.

The Metallic Only is your first hardware with only the Inner Bevel/Metallic Preset used.
Dimples, Bumps, Stucco, Terrain, Blanket and Dross are all Texture Presets.

Go to Effects/Texture Effects/Textures.  From the drop down menu, choose the Presets.
