Making Cabinet 3: Hardware

I'm going to use two standard Window's fonts.  The first one will be Times New Roman.  Keep your text settings the same as they were when you used the Boxes.ttf.  Use the capital D.  Stretch it out a bit and squeeze in some while still a vector.  Adjust for how you want your handle to look.  You can rotate while it is still a vector.  Now deselect and convert to a raster layer.  Remember, if you have any problems getting a straight rotation as a vector, rotate after converting to a rastor layer by going to Image/Rotate.  Rotate right 90 degrees.  Now go to Effects/3D/Inner Bevel/Metallic Preset.

And here is how the Times New Roman looks on the top drawer.
Courier New was used for the bottom drawer.

You can add a Drop Shadow with these settings.

For a different look to the Times New Roman handle, use the Eraser on the top.

Here are the different versions.  And you know what you can do?
When you make hardware, you can save them as a file on different layers!
So when I'm making furniture I can just go pick one from my hardware file.

Here is the cabinet in dark wood with bunny dings.

Hey!  I have a few more "twists" left in me, wall units!
