Making Doors: Number 2

And now for what's behind door number 2!  This time I'm using numeral 4 from the Boxes.ttf.
The text settings are the same as the first door.  Open a new transparent image, 300x400.

Once again I'm going to use the wood patterns rotated 90 degrees.

Make sure your text is set to Vector/Antialias.
After you stretch out your text, deselect and convert to a Rastor Layer.

Activate the Magic Wand and click in all the open areas as you did for Door 1.
Invert the Selection and apply Inner Bevel using the Frame Preset.

Now use the Magic Wand to select the two inside frames of the door.
Selections/Modify/Expand.  Expand by 2 pixels.  Now Flood fill with your wood pattern.

Apply the Inner Bevel Soft Edge Preset.

With the Magic Wand, select the two inside panels of the door.
Selections/Modify/Expand.  Expand by 2 pixels.
Change your top Styles Pattern to Smearing Gold, Scale 25, Angle 90.
Flood fill the panels and leave them selected.

Invert the Selection on the panels and apply the Outer Bevel, Groove Preset.

Invert the Selection again.
Go to Effects/Texture Effects/Texture/  Use the Dross Preset.

And here is door number 2.  On to number 3!
