Making Dresser 2
The body of the dresser.

Let's start with getting our basic dresser put together.  Open a new transparent image, 400x400.  Setup your wood patterns in the Styles.  I'm using wood01.jpg for the Stroke/Foreground and Stained Wood for the Fill/Background.  Use the comma from the Boxes.ttf.  Make sure your text is set for Vectors/Antialias.  Make your dresser no more than 200 pixels high and 200 pixels wide. Go to Layers/Duplicate.

Convert each to a Raster Layer.  Line them up side by side.  With the Selection tool, select a portion of the right and left sides.  You can choose to select less area if you want more space between the sets of dresser drawers.

Hit Delete as you make each layer active.
Push the two layers together until they blend/match exactly.
Merge Visible layers.

Click on the background with the Magic Wand.
Hold down the Shift key on the keyboard and select inside the dresser also.
Invert the Selection.
Effects/3D/Inner Bevel/Frame Preset.

With the Magic Wand select inside the dresser. Selections/Modify/Expand. Expand 2 pixels.
Flip your Styles swatches.  Flood fill with the Stained Wood.

Effects/3D/Inner Bevel/Bead Preset.
