Just A Little Ol' Pumpkin,
How Hard Could It Be?

Add a new layer called eye.  Use the Shape tool/Triangle/Filled/3.  Do not have vector or antialias checked.

Go to Image/Effects/Inner Bevel/Soft Edge.  Change the shape to the one shown in the image.

Go to Image/Effects/Cutout.  Use the settings shown in the image.

Go to Image/Effects/Drop Shadow.  Use the settings shown in the image.

With the Magic Wand set at a Tolerence of 30, click inside the eye.  Flood fill with your Linear Gradient, same settings as before.

Use the Soften with the same settings as before and soften any areas that need it.  Now copy the eye and paste as a new layer.  Mirror it.  Copy and paste as a new layer for the nose and use the deform tool to stretch it.

Add a new layer called mouth.  Draw an ellipse with the selection tool and flood fill with the solid orange.  Now use the rectangle selection tool to cut off the top half.  Follow the same directions as with the eye.  Copy one of the eye layers and paste as a new layer.  Use the deform tool to shrink it down.  Make copies of this layer as new layers for as many teeth as you want.  Play with them on the different layers and move some down further and cut off their bottoms so you have different sizes.

Your carved pumkin is done.  Maybe tomorrow I'll put up a tutorial to animate it!
