In this tutorial I use the dolphin mask.
You can click on the thumbnails below and then save
both of the full size images to your hard drive if you wish.
Open up your mask and the image that you are going
to use.
Make your image active. Now make two copies of your
image.
Close the original and minimize one of the copies.
We will use that one later.
Go to Masks, New, From Image and click.
Now a window is going to pop up, in the drop down menu, choose your mask that you are using, with the settings I have below.
Now your image should look something like this.
Go back up to Masks, click Delete.
A window like this below will pop up and click yes.
Now go to Edit, copy this image.
Open up the other image and paste as new layer.
You will probably not see anything different yet. Don't
worry, its there.
Now make sure your new layer (the one with the mask
applied to it) is active.
Go to Images, Effects, Drop Shadow using the settings
I have below.
Now you should see your dolphins.
They almost look like they are popping out of the
picture.
Now we can merge the layers and add a frame or whatever else you would like to do.
I added a border, applied blade pro and a drop shadow.
Here is my finished image.
Hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
