To insert an image, go to the top toolbar, choose insert, then image.

A box will pop up and you click on choose file. Another box will pop up. Then browse to find the image file. Click on the file you want, say open, then that box will close. Say ok on the first box. If you want the image centered, use the center command while the image is highlighted on your page.
