The PSP7 Toolbar
Here are the shortcuts that are going to be needed for the Advanced PSP7 classes. If the name is in black text, I highly suggest you have it. If the name is a screen capture, this is what you have to put on. So the capture below wouldn't be too wide, I cut off the right end of my toolbar and placed it under the left side of the toolbar. Just follow that nice arrow as it loops around.
I try to compose the shortcuts in a way that makes sense to work with an image. In other words, all the copy, paste, cut, etc., is together. All the selections are together. And so on. It is VERY important to have the Toggle Layer Palette on your toolbar. Also highly important is to be able to toggle the Tool Options Window.
For doing any kind of transparency work, you must have the Increase to 16 million colors, Decrease to 256 colors and the Set Transparency. Please go over the File Saving tutorial which will go into detail on how to perfect your transparencies.
The Selection set of 3 is very important. There are many times in a tutorial where I will tell you to Invert the Selection. In the vector tutorials, you will need to Select All. And it is always important to have the Select None on your toolbar. How many times have you gone to do something and for some odd reason nothing is happening? Well, it's very easy to take a look up at the toolbar and if the Select None is active, you know where your problem is.
Everyone should have Undo and Redo on the toolbar! Remember, Undo is your friend. As for the Flip and Mirror, they are very handy to have on the toolbar when working in layers and you need to flip or mirror one layer section.
