Inspired by Hoods. Would have loved to see her site remain up, but she
took it down. And we all will miss her talent.
Open a new image 300 x 300 with a transparent background.
Choose a color you would like for your sparkle. I chose yellow.
Draw an Ellipse in the center of your image. Don't make it too wide.
Now you up to Image, Deformations, Perspective - Horizontal.
When the window comes up put the Difference at 100, click okay.
Go back up to Image, Deformations, Perspective - Horizontal and change
the setting to -100, click okay.
Your image should look something like this.
Now go up to Image, Blur.
Your image should look like this now.
Go to Edit, Copy.
Edit paste as new layer.
Image, rotate, and rotate this one by 45 degrees.
Copy this layer and paste it as a new layer, rotate it 45 degrees.
Copy this layer and paste it as a new layer, rotate it 45 degrees.
You should have something like this.
Now go to Layers, Merge all visible. Add a new layer and place it under
the merged layer.
Now we are going to add the halo effect.
With your ellipse preshape tool make an ellipse on the new layer you
made.
Go to Image, Blur, Gaussian Blur. A window will pop up, set this at
10.00
Your image should look like this now.
Go up to Layers, Merge all visible.
You are done with your sparkle. Now you can export it as a tube.
