Now it's time to add the sparkles for animation. Before you do this make sure you have saved your PSP file. At this time you should make 3 or 4 copies of this psp file. Go to File, then Save Copy As. If you have never used a new plugin before, you may have to review my Plugins help pages. http://www.glorianon.com/psp/psp15.html.
Make the image layer active on your first copy. Click on the background with the Magic Wand. Invert the Selection so that the selection is around the image, or as we call it, the "ants are dancing" around the image. Add the sparkle effect to it now. I added it twice for each frame of my animation because I wanted a lot of sparkles to show up.
Now add the Sparkle with different settings to your second and third copies. You want at least 3 copies with different Sparkle settings to get a really good animation effect.

Before you go to Merge, flip the color you used for your background color to the bottom of the Color Palette. To be clear, remember when you flood filled your Background layer with a solid color? That color is on the top box of the color swatches that are found under the Color Palette to the far right of your workspace. You want to flip the boxes so that color is now the bottom box. Now go to Layers/Merge/Merge All (Flatten).

Do this for all your copies. Now, on each separate image, click on the down arrow, the Decrease Colors to 256. A box is going to come up.
Here are the settings that work the best. Once set, it will hold these settings.

Now click on the Set Transparency. Check the middle button as shown below. Proof. You should see nice grey transparency blocks come up as shown below. Say ok and save as a gif file. Do this for all of your copies.

You can now put these gif files together in Animation Shop. Do you want to see my final animation? And Page 5 has something special.
